I will periodically post new research opportunities here.

The TCNJ Research Assistant (RA) program provides a win-win opportunity for students and faculty to collaborate. Faculty benefit from a paid assistant, while students benefit from hands-on research experience and up to 100 hours of paid student employment for the semester. RAs are expected to participate in Celebration of Student Achievement in the Spring to share about their research activities or present to the department or in a group setting, as appropriate. RAs are for one semester - fall or spring.

Recommendation Letter Requests

• Requests should be sent to piyanonr@tcnj.edu with the subject [RecLetter]
• I generally write recommendation letters only for students with whom I have worked on a research project.
• Please make requests at least one month before the deadline. Requests with short notices may be declined.
• Please also send me a reminder one week before the deadline.
• Please provide relevant materials such as: the names of the programs or employers and the position being applied for, your resume and statement of purpose (for graduate school) or cover letter (for jobs), etc.
• For confidentiality reasons, I do not give letters to students. Please either add my contact information to the application portal or send me the email address of the person I should contact.
